Joshua H. Munter, 43, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2018.
He is survived by his spouse, Karen Grunow Munter, son Judah, stepdaughter Eily Fabjance, and stepson Kellan Fabjance. He is also survived by his parents, Don and MarySue Munter, and brother Justin (Katherine).
Josh graduated from Northland College in 1998 and remained in Ashland, contributing to the community as owner of HD Custom Guitar Supply and The Music Center, and through philanthropic efforts in area public schools and more. He was a frequent performer with local bands, including Sea Hag and Alpha City.
Funeral services will be held at the Sigurd Olson Institute at Northland College Monday, Jan. 22. Visitation will begin at 10:30 a.m., followed by the funeral at 11 a.m.

I first met Josh, when I set up the radio transmitter, next to the sound board. You should have seen the look he gave me, when he traced the water drips, on the sound board, to one of my wires. He then procceeded in telling me that he was probably going to be playing, in no less that 5 bands. Of course, I laughed, and laughed… Until he played in his 6th band!
I always enjoyed seeing him, every year. I miss him.
